Technical Training Advisor Dell SecureWorks Atlanta, GA

SecureWorks was recently acquired by Dell and is rapidly deploying training to a large number of new hires and the broader Dell selling organization.  We are currently searching for an experienced Sales Training Specialist to assist in preparing sales and sales engineer training materials for online, facilitated with video and in-person training.  This position will be responsible for developing materials, presenting the materials and facilitating additional presenters to provide content.  Training will cover a broad number of topics including basic sales training, sales messaging for Dell SecureWorks offerings, technical training for Sales Engineers and training required to accompany new offerings and bundles.  This position will also coordinate with the broader Dell sales and training organizations as well as working with trainers in other areas of Dell SecureWorks.   
Duties And Responsibilities:
·       Learn and become an authority on the Dell SecureWorks service lines and sales process
·       Present training materials with high energy and engaging materials
·       Design, develop and deliver training in multiple locations (travel required up to 40%)
·       Adaptation of training materials for multiple audiences – enabling the introduction of our services as well as the in-depth content knowledge needed to close revenue.
·       Improve and expand current training curriculum and ongoing development programs to align with new strategic demands on the sales organization
·       Support other personnel training and development sessions as needed
·       Report on planned and actual registrations as well as tracking progress on percent of Dell field force trained and certified on Dell SecureWorks.

Position Requirements:
 
·             At least 5-7 years of professional experience providing training in a  business environment
·            Understanding of the practical application of Adult Learning Theory
·            Previous experience with e-learning tools and course creation
·            Previous experience with video capture and editing skills
·            Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts and processes in easy-to-understand language
·            Basic technical knowledge (computer networking and security) Proficiency in PowerPoint, Articulate, and Captivate
·            Excellent analytical abilities and organizational habits
·            Demonstrated competency in needs assessment and curriculum design
·            Ability to quickly self-train and pick up new skills or knowledge sets as necessary
·            High initiative, strong work ethic and interest in information technology and security is essential
·            4 year BS/BA degree from a major college or university is preferred 
·            Some travel will be required (approximately 40%)
