Location: Xiamen, Fujian, China

Job Family Summary
Responsible for processing company payroll. Ensures accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings and company deductions. Prepares statistical reports on team member pay, commissions and bonuses, vacation, sick, disability and workers compensation leave, taxes and withholdings. Maintains records, ledgers and files.
 
Principal Accountabilities
· Ensures payroll is processed with speed and accuracy.
· Serves as liaison to team members and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
· Audits team member pay records, and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.
· Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
· Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements, and stays current with changes in the law.
· Documents payroll processes and procedures.
· Ensures all processes and procedures meet government requirements.
· May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, related documentation, and SOX testing.
· May work with outsource vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.

Experience
· 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
