Program Management Consultant Taipei, Taipei, Taiwan

Responsible for leading the worldwide management and execution of cross-functional programs throughout the product/solution lifecycle using the Phase Review Process (PrP), and driving design and development activities associated with a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.  Program Director starts early product definition by working closely with Marketing and Architecture teams to successfully translate the product specs into program deliverables and RFQ package.  Program Director is responsible for leading cross-functional core teams to develop and introduce products and solutions to our customers with the right features, customer experience, quality, schedule, cost, continuity of supply, service capability and sales volumes/financials. For products/solutions in development, the Program Director leads a core team through definition/requirements, planning, development, and launch. For shipping products/solutions, the Program Director leads a sustaining core team to manage feature enhancements, quality, continuity of supply, etc. The Program Director leads the execution of the Phase Review Process (PrP) – Dell's process for defining, planning, developing, launching, and sustaining Dell's product and solution offerings. Assisting in the integration of complex business factors to develop and implement long-term strategic LOB or market segment objectives is required.  In some cases, the Program Director interacts with sales organizations and/or customers to communicate organizational information, strategies, capabilities etc. to aide business acquisition and development activities.  The Program Director is responsible for managing the ODM to execute and implement all aspects of the engineering solutions, which can include: Printed Cirucuit boards, mechanical, peripherals, power, OS, OM, FW, BIOS, solution SW, test, diags, Info dev, and management of associated vendors.

Masters or Undergraduate degree, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Strong Intellectual capacity with excellent technology/engineering skills relating to design, test and quality.
Excellent understanding of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions.
Excellent leadership and influencing skills driving cross functional alignment
Strong Cross-functional team management, strong interpersonal skills and adaptive communication style
Ability to view situations objectively from different perspectives
Ability to frame situations and make/drive decisions
Ability to resolve Complex problems, drive for results, innovate, think and lead strategically
