Job Responsibilities

  • Keeping track of all payments, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. globally
  • Accurate and timely process of invoices and other monthly tasks
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining historical records (electronic and archiving) as per Romanian Financial Requirements
  • Reviewing and uploading general ledger/journals and accounts payable data files submitted by departments
  • Performing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of Accounts Payable/Accounting activity
  • Performing monthly reconciliations and accruals
  • Providing support for separate entities, vendors and internal personnel
  • Responsible for T&E activities
  • Analyzing workflow processes
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Creating vendor profiles and maintaining information up to date in the system
  • Supporting internal and external audit requirements 
  • Keep track of Romanian fiscal law changes and update employees
  • Advises and consults on financial and/or accounting issues involving business activities for a business unit to ensure proper compliance with laws and GAAP
