Advisor, Services Program Management
Responsible for developing Take Back capabilities, strategic planning, achieving financial and operational objectives and successfully delivering on customer commitments. Identify ways of growing the Asset Recovery Services (ARS) Services business as ARS Subject Matter Expert and proactively identify new opportunities with current and future customers. Plays a supporting role in defining the scope of projects, understanding a customer’s issues/problems, and conceiving customer deliverables. Manages projects, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity, which bring distinct, specific projects to completion on time and within budget.
Responsible for developing and managing Producer Responsibility capabilities, achieving financial and operational objectives and successfully deliver legislative commitments. Identify ways of fulfilling requirements and timely declarations according to local laws. Manage programs, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity, which bring distinct, specific programs to completion on time and within budget.
PrincipalAccountabilities:
- Accountable for deployment, execution of service/project deliverables and the achievement of customer satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally within Dell organization (Sales, Services, Finance, Executive Management, Solutions Design Centre, Partner Management and Global Take Back peers) to support, promote, and maintain Dell's leadership position within the industry in Asset Recovery services.
- Manage ARS backlog, revenue and operational excellence in accordance with corporate targets
- Manage ARS scorecard and operation dashboards
- Directs the efforts of Environmental Partner in the achievement of the strategic and operational effectiveness
- Develop long term relationships with strategic customers
- Support and drive local readiness to launch any Global ARS program or initiative
- Support large and complex custom projects with proper delivery process
- Support ARS operation tools and ARS financial reporting
- Work cross-functionally within the Dell organization (global producer responsibility, government affairs, corporate communications, finance, sustainability, executive management, and Global TakeBack peers) to support, promote, and maintain Dell's legislative obligations.
- Strategize and plan for legislation requirements within Dell's team (reporting, liaison on administration with government request)
Service
- Ensure the delivery of the service meets contract specifications.
- Ensure the delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement.
- Escalation points and responsible for delivery and client satisfaction
- Ensure 100% legislation compliance with timely reporting, declaration and payment.
- Drive optimization in cost of compliance (cost modelling/forecasting)
- Own risk assessment, risk management and sustainability report on compliance
- Ensure the incorporation of compliance requirements in contracts/agreements/SOW
- Plan and execute Recycling Program roadmap
- Actively and creatively involved in driving the production elements of the program or event.
- Manage consumer recycling Expansion Plan, partner definition, external website modification, process with Environmental Partner
Relationship Focus
- Act as an expert in ARS delivery and best practices. Lead the defining and adherence to delivery management processes and policies.
- Set project timeframes and priorities based on project objectives and ongoing assignments.
- Provide guidance and technical advice and becomes actively involved as required.
- Builds cross-functional partnerships.
- Identifies business opportunities.
- Complete fiscal and budget ownership, achieving new proven levels of efficiencies
- Internal communication/marketing strategy via corporate internal communications team
- Implement program or event metrics and analysis of future year enhancements.
- Develop documented operations manual for future program or event
- Ensure operational and reporting compliance with Dell's consumer programs.

- Analyse quantitative, qualitative and trend data.
- Anticipate operational issues and develops preventative measures.
- Solve problems impacting the area in a systematic and clear manner that can be understood by subordinates and colleagues.

- Provide support and leadership to customers, staff and other Dell personnel on integrated projects.
- ARS SME in supporting the definition of service scope, understanding a customer’s issues/problems, and conceiving customer deliverables.
- Responsible for budgeting, resourcing, personnel and administrative management duties in support of Dell operations.
- Provide support and leadership to stakeholders on WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) related programs and obligations.
Experience
Functional
- Demonstrable experience acting as Program Manager of this magnitude with measurable results for a multi-year period. Only those with this experience will be considered.
- Diverse industry knowledge and exposure on E-waste legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
