What you’ll achieve

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineers will be responsible for solutioning transformation and modernization of enterprise data on GCP cloud. Integrate native GCP services and 3rd party data technologies. Design large scale solutioning and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes and analytics platforms on GCP. Apply broad set of technology skills across these areas and demonstrate an ability to design right solutions with appropriate combination of GCP and 3rd party technologies for deploying on GCP cloud.

You Will

  • Work closely with our Analytics and AdTech teams to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data

  • Use agile software development processes to iteratively make improvements to our back-end systems

  • Model front end and back end data sources to help draw a more comprehensive picture of user flows throughout our system and enable powerful data analysis

  • Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources. Develop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the overall business

  • Query datasets, propose visualizations of query results and support the design of new reports

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital analytics, digital advertising, ETL and site-wide analytics tool (Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics), big data (experience with Big Query a must) and analyzing data with Python and/or R

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in quantitative field (analytics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics etc) with strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data

  • Relevant mathematics background including Statistics, Calculus, and Linear Algebra

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, and prediction (example, scikit-learn, Stats Models, etc.)

Desirable Requirements

  • Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid startup environment

  • Ability to explain the analytical methods and results to non-technical stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making
