What you’ll achieve

Strategic partnerships with government and industry groups are crucial to Dell’s success. To drive human progress through ground-breaking technology, we must develop relationships and understand Governments throughout the EMEA region. Government Relations is at the heart of this vital work – from liaising with leaders of government and industry, to preparing policy briefings for pending legislative actions. As thought leaders, the team helps to inform public policy and secure a place for Dell in important government forums and industry group meetings.


You will:

  • Drive policy and business support initiatives in Italy and Europe and contribute to help Dell Technologies drive human progress

  • Increase the profile of Dell with Government decision makers, ensuring we are connected with the right decision makers, at the right level and they understand the changing nature of our industry and company

  • Provide advice and counsel as well as concise briefing materials to senior business executives in the region and at headquarters on policy and political matters that may impact the company

  • Manage certain relevant EU policy in coordination with the rest of the EMEA Government Affairs team

  • Drive forward public sector opportunities in Italy and other European markets with our business colleagues. Working in tandem with the business, identify and engage on public affairs programs with the Italian Government

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum six years experience in Government or working in the Government relations profession

  • Self-starter able to identify and execute on policy and public affairs projects with minimal oversight

  • Global outlook and ability to collaborate with teams around the world

  • Excellent written and oral skills in Italian and English with other EU languages as a preference

  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment


Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience helping teams function and achieve success

  • Willingness to experiment with new technologies to further team productivity
