Senior Program Manager – Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT)
Location: Remote – United States
The security of customers’ data and systems is of paramount importance to Dell Technologies. Our Product and Application Security team designs and develops software and systems to minimize security risks within our products. As experts working at the forefront of security, we undertake vulnerability response handling, implement the secure development lifecycle, coordinate security certifications, and develop common software security components and toolkits. As well as ensuring the authenticity and integrity of the product code during product development, we mitigate risks of sourcing and delivery of counterfeit or maliciously tainted components in our products.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Program Manager, you will help drive improvements in Dell’s response to High Profile vulnerabilities. You will strategize to expand our PSIRT processes beyond traditional product lines (Cloud, Hybrid, SaaS, etc.), developing trusted relationships with industry partners, security researchers and with internal customers. You will define and implement best practice methods, processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at unifying, simplifying, scaling, and increasing the efficiency of Dell’s Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) processes across development and support organizations.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a Product Security Incident Response Program within a global technology company, have technical depth and experience, and leadership skills, to succeed.
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams to build and support the processes and tools necessary to support High Profile vulnerability response
- Collaborate with external security researchers and research organizations associated with any High Profile vulnerability
- Partner with engineering, support organizations and PSIRT Program Managers to triage vulnerability reports and to determine the impact on Dell products
- Coordinate communication of vulnerability impact and remedy information to customers for High Profile vulnerabilities and present on High Profile vulnerabilities to Executive staff
- Define and report program roadmap, status, development issues and success metrics for High Profile process

- Related experience in Product & Application Security, Security Operations, PSIRT, CSIRT, Vulnerability Response and/or Incident Response
- Experience implementing security and incident management processes
- Comfortable making risk-based decisions
- Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with focus on details, readability, and usability
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field with 8+ years relevant experience; or equivalent professional experience
- CISSP, CSSLP, SANS GIAC, PMP certifications a plus
- Knowledge of PowerBI and Tableau
