As well as selling them directly, we’re called in to identify and support opportunities within particular customer accounts. We are the difference makers.
-Provides insight and subject matter expertise to customers concerning applicability of complex specific products and service technologies
-Analyzes and applies industry, competitor and market knowledge to positive value of Dell solution
-Consults with other product specialists, leaders, or cross-functional technical groups to ensure consistent application of solutions
-Gains access and manages relationships with technical personnel and decision makers
-Identifies operational strengths and challenges within the customer’s environment
-Pre Sales Specialist with complete understanding of our product and services portfolio
-Typically 8+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role with a Bachelor’s degree
-Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership
-Good knowledge of technical products, vendors, and families of technologies
-5+ years experience in a pre-sales consulting role
-Experience selling technical solutions and managing the entire sales cycle including but not limited to qualifying, forecasting, and call to ball
-Knowledge of Dell Data Center solutions including but not limited to servers, storage, networking, and HCI.
