Dell is currently hiring a Retail Account Executive for the Retail Vertical responsible for managing the Retail Point of Sale Client Peripheral Devices for the Global Retail Industry Team. Location is Texas Remote. As part of the Global Retail Industry Team, this position is responsible for meeting overall objectives and business metrics associated with the Retail Point of Sale category.  The Account Executive will work cross functionally with multiple teams including but not limited - Sales, Merchandising, Marcom, Finance, S&P Operations, General Procurement, On-Line, PR and the Global Marketing Teams.

  • Maximize the P&L for the Retail Point of Sale category.
  • Partner Relationships – Build on our existing 3rd Party Partner relationships while identifying opportunities to grow their business while discovering new companies to onboard

  • Act as technical "go-to" resource, answering technical and non-technical questions related to product set.

  • Pipeline Management and Large Deal Engagement - must be willing to help support in a technical/sales capacity to help close large opportunities and identify opportunities.

  • Work closely with Center of Competency (CoC) partners, Sales, Segment marketing teams, Business Management, Marcom, On-Line, Operations and Finance Teams to ensure seamless execution of product offering and business growth.

How your experience will help you hit the ground running:

[Requirements]

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, and or a combination of the above
  • Knowledge of OptiPlex is a big plus
  • Understanding of technical product concepts in making product/commodity trade-off decisions

  • Knowledge of PC and Retail Point of Sale industrial technologies, future trends and direction, including competitors

  • Passion for the Client Peripherals and Retail industry

  • Knowledge and Experience working within the E-Commerce industry

  • Working knowledge of Sales Force.com is preferred but not required

  • Possess presentation skills and comfortable presenting to executive level
