What you’ll achieve
As aSr. Principal Software Engineer, you will get to be part of the Developer Modernization team looking to change the way we do software development, with a focus on driving customer and business value and delivering products in a faster, cloud enabled and more efficient way. You will feel like you’re working in a “start up” with the stability and knowledge of the best technology company in the world. The Cloud Enablement team focuses on helping thousands of developers across Dell Digital to leverage the right tools and processes for Dell specific Cloud App development. As a Senior Principle Engineer for the Cloud Enablement team, you will act as an advocate of industry best practices for Cloud to our developer community, you’ll work closely with the Product Director, stakeholders and the engineering teams who work across various Dell Digital teams to support the Cloud transformation within Dell. You’ll participate in the entire software development life cycle starting with research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors and maintenance, bringing in your ideas and suggestions to test and improve existing software.
Lead design and development of the modern application, API Economy and Experience using cloud technologies
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and influence to achieve results
Work with key stakeholders to ensure the product meetscustomersrequirements, support teams, and service teams.
Drive idea generation for new products or the next version of an existing product
Ability to translate product/project requirements into development plans and architectures

Must have Hands-on Experience in Microsoft and .NET framework technologies. C#, .NETcore, ASP.NET, MVC, MS SQL server.
Candidate must have a strong OOA/OOD background and understanding of Design Patterns, Enterprise Application Patterns and anti-patterns.
Understand or implementation experience in building Twelve-Factor applications using Domain Driven Design.
Experience in HTML/CSS/JS (Angular or comparable framework)
Hands-on experience in accelerated and automated app dev, CI/CD, DevOps principles, Site Reliability Engineering, framework and tools (New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus) to simplify development via true agile/lean principles
Seeks to ensure both Frontend and Backend are testable code and writes Unit Tests and Integration tests for both. Prefer Jest and Enzyme for Frontend andXUnitfor Backend
Kubernetes, OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Docker or related container platform ecosystems and public cloud-like Azure/AWS.
Knowledge on Serverless, Event-driven Architecture, messaging, Services Mesh and caching technologies is a plus.
Bachelor's in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum10+ years of Hands-on Experience in Microsoft technologies like.net, C#, ASP.net including 5+years of experience in application architecture, 2 + years of experience in cloud platform technologies with microservice architecture.
