OEM Inside Product Specialist

- An OEM inside Product Specialist 4 is responsible for selling a defined set of products and services.
- He/she also provides technical advice to the OEM Inside sales teams during the sales process.
- He/she is accountable for delivering technical solutions, products, and /or services that address OEM customer needs of varying complexity (via telephone, chat, web, or e-mail); or working with subject matter expert to address a solution of even higher complexity.
- Own OEM for IT - Assist & ESI account sets and/or be called into OEM accounts as opportunities identified.
- Acts as a technical resource to support the OEM Asia Pacific South sales coverage for OEM for IT - Assist & ESI to meet customers' sales engagement and objectives.
- Identifies OEM Asia Pacific South customer needs/requirements and recommend the appropriate products and solutions.
- Provides inside pre-sales technical support during the sales process.
- Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings.
- Stays current on industry and vertical solutions as well.
- Assists in the on-going technical education and development of the broader OEM Asia Pacific South sales team.
- Promotes and positions key strategic product and service offerings.
- Drive growth for OEM Asia Pacific South account pipelines
- Assist and work with the OEM Asia Pacific South Inside Sales Rep to create quotes for Client, Servers, Storage, Shared Infrastructure and Networking.
- Research of obscure questions through sourcebooks, technical guidebooks and internal resources.
- Submit of EPOD, CPOD and technical validations for complex solutions.
- Navigate through Dell internally to get things done for the customer and may involve an OEM Asia Pacific South Outside Sales Engineer as needed.
Possesses these Skills:
- Uses advanced knowledge to build customer relationships and assist customers in developing business solutions using Dell Technologies specialized products and services.
- Strong level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross segment teamwork.
- Exhibits a broad based knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding.
- 5 to years of relevant Inside Product Specialist experience within Dell Technologies or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and some experience in Relationship Selling is required
