Product Management Consultant
Join us as a Product Management Consultant on our Database Design Engineering and Reliability Enablement team in Malaysia to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Consultant, you will be responsible for DEV and DBA Enablement product deliverables for Database Technologies. You will work with DDC, Application Team, Database Product and Database Platform Reliability Services Team on Database offerings.
Work with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Project Managers, and Business Advisors, etc.) to complete product development on time.
Participate to user research phase (phone / live interviews, surveys to better understand user’s perspective) for new Product or User Interfaces. Define user journeys and empathy maps as per Product Management Methodology.
Works with Application Team, DB Engineering, DDC team and DB Cross Product Lead to define and deliver requested products.
Proposes product improvements. Break down the features to be developed into smaller User story (small, testable, deployable).
Be point of contact to triage testing issues and assign the same to the team. Participate to grooming sessions with Cross-Product Lead to understand objectives for coming sprints.

Experience with Agile and Scrum management.
Experience in at least one Database technology (SQL/Oracle or etc.).
At least 8-12 years of experience in Database and Project/Product Management.
Good communication, time management, negotiation and leadership skills.
Experience in scripting tools: PowerShell, Perl, JS, Python, Shell, Ruby, JSON, YAML etc.
