IT Asset Management Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager of IT Asset Management (ITAM), you will be responsible for leading and improving ITAM programs.

Manage the everyday functions of the core IT asset management team, including staffing, budgeting, and other relevant management functions required to hold all IT and business stakeholders accountable for optimizing the cost, risk, and benefit of digital technology assets throughout their life cycle
Build partnerships with sourcing, procurement, legal, tax, and accountancy, cybersecurity advisors for key input and decision making related to those functions
Promote and advocate the value of ITAM to organizational leaders, including developing and promoting effective ITAM strategies, policy approaches, and practices across the full range of digital technology assets used within the organization
Provide finance with the data to support the analysis of digital technology asset project and maintenance budgets and business cases; assign and oversee responsibilities for subdisciplines, such as software asset management (SAM), hardware asset management (HAM)
Identify, report, track and remediate breaches of ITAM policy; develop asset optimization strategies and track progress; ensure data completeness and quality issues are quickly identified and escalated to the responsible data or process owners
Significant and proven experience in leading and improving ITAM programs
5+ years leading an ITAM program in an enterprise environment; 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise IT environment; 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing a Software Asset Management Tool and SAM practice
Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence individuals at all levels (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
Demonstrated ability to bring keen focus to establishing and maintaining KPIs
Data processing, analytics, and quality
Technology asset life cycle (whether digital technology, information, financial or physical assets), best practice governance, tools and services
Understanding of IT business continuity, cybersecurity, and integrated risk management and optimization methodologies is highly desirable, along with knowledge of IT management
Salary in Slovakia starting from 3700 EUR gross monthly
