What you’ll achieve
As a Merchandising Senior Advisor, you will define and execute a plan to support assigned product lines, utilizing market analysis to craft assortment and pricing strategy. You will drive the top and bottom line, optimizing all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, creating continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience.

You will:

  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies for AMD products with strong focus on run rate business across RTMs and Segments. Create a quarterly merchandising plan defining KPIs (RUM, distribution inventory, sell in, sell out metrics) and key focus areas and actions. This plan is aligned with AMD priorities during the sign off call.

  • Based on comprehensive market analysis, create and maintain top selling AMD product portfolio (flexible Smart Value line up) for SMB customers (typical personas / use case scenarios), create and maintain top selling AMD configurations for Distribution SNS (fixed configurations) and enablement on SPL across all EMEA countries.

  • Align distribution sell-out plans with inventory forecast to maximize the asset turnaround, monitor slow sellers in distribution inventory, and take action to impact run rates via price reductions and/or other demand-driving activities as necessary (KPIs – sell in, sell out and weeks of inventory on hand).

  • Apply a thoughtful combination of marketing levers (price, positioning, and promotion) to generate demand (door openers) and provide closing tool for sales.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regional Marketing, Finance, EMEA Pricing and Distribution / Channel sales teams) to develop, plan and implement new business development initiatives.​

Essential Requirements

  • 5 years of related experience as a technology merchandising or category management specialist

  • A deep understanding of customer needs, the product and the external landscape

  • An innovative and creative spirit, to enjoy the considerable diversity of the role

  • Outstanding communication skills (fluent proficiency in English) and the ability to maximize relationships, positively influencing all colleagues and partners

Salary starting from: 2730 EUR gross monthly
