Junior IT Reporting Analyst

The DFS Release & Reliability Centre of Excellence (COE) team aims to enable this through centralizing specific functions to provide consistency and efficiency, coordinating certain DFS Digital activities and providing a single point of contact for DFS Digital into Dell Digital, supporting a high level of stability in production and providing appropriate governance, observability, monitoring, automation of our change, release and compliance processes.

What you’ll achieve

The DFS Center of Excellence is looking for a Junior IT Reporting Analyst who will contribute to the driving governance, automation, process improvements that help in stability, reliability of our applications as we try to deliver fast.

You will be helping us drive standardization, building the required dashboards to measure the health of applications from release quality, code quality, and stability. You will have the opportunity to automate and support a process for driving product release governance, measuring feedbacks, identifying inconsistencies, etc.

We need a passionate individual who can scale across roles and is flexible to work with a diverse team. Strong Collaboration, communication skills will be a good fit.

You will:

  • Work within the team contributing and supporting reporting needs.
  • In collaboration with others within the Center of Excellence, interpret data and provide governance reporting.
  • Use different technologies like Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, etc.  to deliver high impact reporting.
  • Work with peers to detect data inconsistencies or quality issues, investigate their root causes and drive data quality improvements.

Essential Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience and data analysis skills using SQL.
  • Passion for data insights, highly self-motivated and self-learning, goal-oriented, good collaboration inside and outside team.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, as well as good interpersonal skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working reporting automation
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Words, PowerPoint
