Security Governance Risk and Compliance Advisor

What you’ll achieve

As a Security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Advisor, you will support a large (>15B) and growing business unit with an impressive and developing portfolio of service and support offerings, as they build, scale, and modernize their service and support offers to meet customer needs. You will support a maturing Governance Risk and Compliance practice meant to improve organizational compliance, executive oversight, and business enabling risk management by supporting GRC operations including data tracking, rationalization, and communication. 

You will:

  • Work collaboratively with business and SRO colleagues to ensure GRC data is effectively tracked, managed, and reported in a single system of record, and to create workflows that drive efficiency.

  • In partnership with the Services GRC Program Lead and the Third Party Risk Management Program Lead will identify measures and metrics for program success, once identified the Security GRC Advisor will build and continuously update dashboards.

  • Engage in continuous participation and partnership with the business, SRO and IT departments to build / manage relationships across Dell driving improvements in data management and visualization.

  • Prepare monthly, and bi-quarterly & ad hoc reports on GRC data for executive review.  

  • Follow up weekly with Dell Technologies Services business segments, SRO teams and BUSO program managers to ensure operational compliance.

Essential Requirements

  • Verifiable experience in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting deadlines to include daily effort by operational and project objectives,

  • Experience identifying, tracking, communicating, and when needed escalating project risks, 

  • A customer (internal and external) focus with a fierce dedication to enabling cyber hygiene,

  • Ability to make compliance requirements and risk identification simple and executable.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Studies, Information Science, Engineering, or related technical field of study preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and third party risk management experience will be conside
