What you’ll achieve
When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Demand Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending

procedures to avoid future problems.

You will:

  • Drives business strategy and/or sales objectives through demand, supply and capacity inputs to orchestrate decisions on forecasts and customer commitments. Evaluates market, commodity, product, and platform dynamics to demand forecast.

  • Analyzes demand trends and forecast performance to make adjustments to future demand plans. Utilizes data, analytics, and market intelligence to manage risk when determining forecast requirements.

  • Leverages advanced statistical models to provide forecasts based on demand characteristics. Collaborates with stakeholders on business assumptions that impact supply chain planning. Translates customer and financial requirements to actionable forecasts. Generates demand plans that support product/peripheral transitions Influences demand shaping with sales segments during times of supply imbalances or when required to meet a shift in the regional marketing or financial plans.

  • Drives material allocation decisions and translates material allocation to customer commitments on supportability and lead-times. Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills to articulate forecasting plans and assumptions

  • Facilitate Storage transition management forum with key stakeholders to orchestrate issue resolution. Run the Weekly S&OP and participate in the monthly EWS meetings and prepare executive presentations. Take initiatives to create and optimize business process and performance metrics to promote effective management of Storage product transition

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and minimum 7 years of related business experience

  • Knowledge of MSP, MPP, MRP flow of Demand Supply Planning

  • Hands on experience on SAP / other ERP tools as user. Project management skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate across teams Globally. Attention to detail


Desirable Requirements

  • Consulting skills will be an advantage to understand pain points and recommend solutions
