Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while working with colleagues across the globe to ensure Dell products always lead the way.

We are looking for a5G Cloud Software Engineering Managerto lead the Cloud team globally in the design and implementation of the cloud strategy across the 5G product group. Candidates should have a strong experience in cloud native architecture and technologies.

What you’ll achieve:

As a 5G Cloud Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee the architecture, design and delivery of a new 5G product while leading and growing a world-class team focusing on the 5G RAN Cloud Strategy.

You Will:

• Lead a global agile software engineering team focused on the design, architecture and implementation of the 5G Cloud strategy for RAN following the ORAN standards

• Participate in long-range planning and development of operational goals and engineering specifications

• Provide innovative solutions to complex problems and communicate progress toward project/program goals

• Ensure team meets project requirements for schedule and quality

• Hiring of a diverse and effective workforce

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with leading a distributed Engineering Development team, managing development schedules and driving interlock meetings along with presenting program status to key stakeholders.

• Deep Knowledge of Agile Software Development Practices, Agile Program Management and Product Offering Life-Cycle Methodologies

• Capability to write and review requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, tech plans and documentation

• Experience working on a large cloud native product/system

• Experience in leading and driving software design principles across multiple product groups

Desirable Requirements:

• Good understanding of 5G technologies and ORAN

• Experience working with Kubernetes and openstack as well as AWS, Azure & Google Cloud
