Senior Engineer, Technical Support(Cloud Computing, Open Networking, SD-WAN)

What you’ll achieve

As aSenior Engineer, you will be responsible forresolving networking escalations as part of a team.You will work withglobal enterprise customers, specific or generic, to resolve the issues reported in their infrastructure specificallyinCloud, Datacenter and EdgeNetworkingInfrastructure, both traditionaland Open Networkingand in adjoining Lines of Businesses like Compute, Storage.You will also be contributing to HW and SW quality by reporting the bugs to Product Quality Team

You will:

  • Own ofEnterprise Customer-reported issues fromvarious Intake modelsandwork with customers and other stakeholders until resolution to customer’s satisfaction

  • ComprehensivelyDocumentall therelevanttechnicalinformationthroughout life cycleand ensure the customer is communicated with in a timely manner regarding the overall progress of their issue

  • During Resolution, coordinate with multiple Internal stakeholders like Engineering, Frontline Teams, OtherLoBsetc.

  • Contribute to HW and SW quality of Dell Networking products by reporting bugs and issues to PG Engineering.

  • Make sure customers are treated with the highest degree of respect and drive operational excellence through quality closures

  • Play as part of Team and follow the necessary processes and utilize relevant tools as per guidelines to achieve resolution(Examples:Training/Mentoring, Knowledge Sharing, Projects, Tasks etc.)

Essential Requirements 

  • 4+ Years of Experience in Enterprise Technical Support

  • StrongCustomerOrientation,ExcellentPhoneEtiquette andWorkEthics

  • Extensive knowledge ofNetworking Solutions– Datacenter and Edge

  • Knowledge on Cloud Computing, Open Networking, SD-WAN concepts

  • Linux knowledge is an added advantage

  • Excellent communicationsSkillsin Englishand ability to work with calmness and composure under stress

Desirable Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably Engineering

  • Industry Standard Certifications like CISCO, Juniper, Delletc.
