Dell Financial Services (DFS) is a market leading provider of leasing and financing payment solutions, as well as technology consumption solutions.  Our APEX Custom Portfolio of technology consumption solutions is the fastest growing segment in Dell Financial Services.   We are rapidly expanding and require an additional APEX Flex on Demand Sales Specialist to drive Flex on Demand solution sales across multiple account segments and/or geographic regions.  You’ll work directly with Dell Sales Reps, Dell Sales partners and our customers to help our customers achieve their technology and financial objectives.

What you’ll achieve

As a DFS Account Executive, you will be responsible for proposing and selling leasing, financing and 'as a Service' payment solutions to Dell Technologies’ Enterprise customers.  You will support Dell's product sales Account Executives with payment solutions for their technology proposals. This role is a vendor financing sales role. DFS is a captive (Dell-owned) leasing company and the successful candidate's primary responsibility is to support the sale of Dell products.

You will:

  • Partner with the primary Dell EMC Account Executive and the Product Specialists for each of the accounts in your territory to develop payment solutions in support of their technology solutions
  • Drive incremental lease and finance revenue for non-Dell product; non-Dell product financing is a material part of a successful account executive's annual results
  • Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements, develop account plans and manage your own sales forecast
  • Customarily and regularly meet with decision makers at client locations to present new solutions and manage ongoing business
  • Pro-actively propose APEX consumption-based, "as a Service" and other innovative payment solutions

Essential Requirements

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in outbound sales in IT or Finance (Leasing, Commercial lending)
  • Experience working with commercial customers with 500+ employees
  • Strong prospecting and discovery skills
  • Ability to calculate lease rates
  • Experience and passion for going on sales calls and closing deals

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in IT Leasing
  • Experience working for an IT manufacturer or reseller
  • Understand the difference between sell and ship
