Software Support Engineer

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer with a passion for delivering customer excellence.  The Software Support Engineer will be responsible for providing a world class support experience, managing customer expectations, and resolving challenging issues for Dell Boomi partners and customers.

The Software Support Engineer works via phone, chat, and email to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for the Dell Boomi suite of products. A successful candidate will be able to quickly understand the Dell Boomi platform.  They will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues relating to installation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage of the Dell Boomi platform. The ability to understand how the end to end solution works, including hardware, software, and networking is needed.

This is a customer-facing role which requires strong communication skills.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and possess outstanding time-management skills.

  • Requirements:
    • Experience with:
      • Java
      • SQL
      • XML
      • SOAP/REST
      • HTTP/HTTPS
      • API usage
      • Scripting
    • Experience working with cloud based software solutions preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux
    • Prior experience working in Customer Support or Development
    • A passion to solve customer problems using your refined communication skills to coach and train customers on the platform
