This Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing and managing a majority of our OEM / Embedded-Use business. They will be responsible for prioritizing OEM and Embedded-Use partners, identifying growth opportunities and working with partner to develop and execute their growth plans. You will do this in conjunction with our Partner Success team who manages their day to day operations. You will work with the partner success team to identify risks to the business and execute remediation plans as needed. This is a quota carrying role, tasked with growing the business for our OEM / Embedded Use Partners.
Identifying growth opportunities within existing OEM / Embedded-Use partners.
Segment partners based on growth potential and determine a strategic plan to grow your most strategic partners.
Identify key upsell opportunities and deliver messaging to accompany key upsell opportunities. Manage renewals and leverage for growth opportunities.
Structure, negotiate and execute the appropriate partner models and contractual terms.
Continuously assess your own performance and results and refine plan as needed.
Support partner enablement activities, such as internal/external education & communications, partner training and certification, and go to market planning
5+ years in the software technology industry
3+ years sales, business development or alliance management experience
Must have a BA/BS degree
Self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and operating in a faced-paced, fluid environment
Strong analytical competencies, with a willingness to dig into the details
An ability identify and champion win-win scenarios
A team player with a proven capability to collaborate and work across all levels of the organization
A capacity to clearly communicate and present information
History of exceeding quota and partner satisfaction metrics
Estimated 30% travel, included but not limited to partner meetings, conferences, on-site partner activities
Background in OEM partnerships
Experience managing SaaS/cloud alliances
Integration experience desired
