Summary

The Director Sales Execution and Planning communicates, implements and executes all strategic sales activities to maximize sales revenues in line with corporate objectives. This person accurately forecasts revenue, and is a natural communicator and collaborator. The Director Sales Execution and Planning is a key member of the sales team, directly reporting to the SVP, Global Sales and Business Development.

Responsibilities

  •   Requires complete functional knowledge and awareness of company goals and objectives
  •   Develops strategic approach within the Business Sales organization
  •   Leverages a world class understanding of information technology, and an expert understanding of our technology, able to articulate the advantages of our technology to produce enhanced solutions
  •   Interfaces with executives in various functions within the company and externally to ensure that the  Sales Organization executes all internal and external needs and is structured to produce effective plans and strategies

Performance & Success Measures

  • Sales effectiveness measured through ROI and contribution to awareness and revenue
  • Implementation of processes and infrastructure impacting sales efficiency and execution
  • Establish strong collaborative relationship with Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success and Product Organization

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
  • At least 12 years of sales leadership driving significant growth and revenue in a high-growth, SaaS environment
  • Results oriented, proven track record  of delivering marketing programs with positive results
  • Possess the presence and intellectual strength to influence and align internal stakeholders to execute around best-in-class marketing and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure that the sales team is operating effectively with other parts of the organization
  • A hands on leader that can also flawlessly execute complex sales activities.
  • Savvy in using data to deliver positive ROI, making decisions based on analytics and data to drive sales efficiencies, effectiveness and collaboration
  • Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment with change and ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel
