Support Engineer: Intake Team - Chesterbrook, PA

  • Role Responsibilities:

    • Providing telephone/email/chat and remote diagnostic technical support of the Boomi Platform.

    • Respond to customer technical problems/issues related to hardware, software and networking.

    • Answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage of assigned products.

    • Verify warranty entitlement and determine appropriate action.

    • Recreate, identify and provide input on unique or recurring customer problems.

    • Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct failures.

    • Document problems in the support solution database for diagnostics and solution implementation.

    • Provide basic remote deployment, maintenance and consulting services.

    • The successful candidate will be able to quickly gain an understanding of the Dell Boomi platform.

    • Responsible for monitoring and addressing customer issues to understand their root cause and business impact.

    • Active participation in our community with your unique experience.

    • This is a customer-facing role in a very collaborative environment and therefore it requires strong communication skills.

    • Work closely with customers and interface with our Engineering team to help find solutions for customers

  • Requirements:

    • Experience with any of the following technologies is preferred:

      • SQL and XML technologies

      • SOAP/REST and HTTP

      • Experience in connecting and working with different APIs

      • Basic scripting experience

      • Java platform knowledge

    • Experience as a software engineer or developer and have a passion for helping partners and customers solve complex integration problems

    • The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years work experience in Customer Support or Development, or a college graduate with a Computer Science.
