What you’ll achieve

Dell Technologies is building state-of-the-art security programs to better protect our people, information, property, and brand. We are currently seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the key applications and programs for our physical security systems.  Dell’s Connected Workplace program promotes finding the best talent to join our team, irrespective of geographic location.

As a Security Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Dell’s security infrastructure and applications are installed and maintained as per Dell’s guidelines and standards.  You will oversee a team for security assessment, design, project management and ongoing repair-and-maintenance.  You will coordinate security infrastructure needs with security operations, building facilities, IT, and other business units as required.

You will:

  • Ensure that the security infrastructure is properly maintained, and the issues are resolved in a timely manner

  • Ensure that new installations or renovations of physical security infrastructure are deployed in accordance with standard practices and procedures

  • Identify performance issues and drive the development of tools and processes to correct

  • Lead cross functional teams to design security infrastructure architecture and provide technical security expertise in cross functional and intra-department efforts

  • Provide sub-contractor/vendor oversight and management of annual budgets

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the design and installation of security and protective systems

  • Experience managing large-scale Electronic Security System projects and engineering complex systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret design specification and technical drawings. 

  • English language proficiency - speaking, reading, and writing

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with AutoCAD, relevant experience in managing projects and preparing requests for proposals

  • PMP, SIA CSPM, ASIS PSP, ASIS CPP, BICSI ESS, BICSI RCDD are examples of preferred certifications/qualifications but are not required
