What you’ll achieve

The Dell Technologies Edge Portfolio team is providing end-to-end solutions for our customers and partners. The advances in IoT are driving more complex and capable edge solutions. Providing fully integrated offerings will be a key part of this role.

As a member of of our edge solutions team, you will be responsible for helping build and document integrated manufacturing solutions/stacks. We have multiple openings on this new team. These positions will be focused on the hands-on building and validation of manufacturing solutions.

You will:

• Work with Architecture and Product Management teams to refine solution definition from from theapplication/management layer to middleware to physicallayer

• Build out Edge focused solutions and document process and decision points

• Work with Engineering Development teams to build out a robust solution

• Validate solutions for quality and robustness

Essential Requirements

• Requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience

• Proven ability to develop and write solutions white papers, deployment guides and operations run books

• Ability to design, develop and execute tests in support of solution validation

• Experience building end-to-end solutions, from bare-metal to IT acceptance

• Experience with failover/failback, backup and other technology to make solutions robust

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with edge solutions

• Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes and containers

• Experience with network administration
