Senior Software Engineering Manager

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will direct the activities of a software development function for software application enhancements and new products. You will work with internal and external partners on the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of computer programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Globally Hires, Manages and leads  a group responsible for the design and/or development of software for automation/solutions/tools for product offering /sales enablement requirements, using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, and other tools) and state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies.

  • Guides & Directs team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

  • Interacts with project managers, peers, stake holders and end-users to define application requirements and/or selection of partners..

  • Participates in the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employees.

  • Participates in stakeholder meetings,  influences/negotiates as appropriate in the decision making process.

  • Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals.

  • Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs.

Essential Requirements

  • Solid knowledge in CPQ process.

  • Technical knowledge in building automation solutions & Knowledge in web technologies ( Java, or Python/  Java script, etc)

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

  • Experience in working on Agile methodologies, Continuous integration Continuous delivery.

  • Experience in data analysis/ KPI definition and dashboarding using software tools to support leadership in decision making.


Desirable Requirements

  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience with 4 years managerial experience

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture.
