Senior Process Engineer-Support and Deployment Services/Consultant

Location: Limerick or Cork

The role offers signification exposure to all of DellEMC Services business functions, with expectation to design and implement cross functional and global strategic concept

This role will deliver in the capacity of a Process Engineer and will report to the functional leader within the Global Process Engineering team for DellEMC Support and Deployment Services (SDS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Engineer and Design solutions that will effectively deliver optimization to critical SDS business functions
  • Requirements gathering and driving process improvements from conception through implementation
  • Perform current state vs desired state gap assessment by conducting system and material flow studies, on floor assessment and discussions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and design E2E connected future state designs
  • Work closely on Technology roadmap
  • Conduct reviews and readouts with Exec audience
  • Continuously measure process improvement success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field required
  • Prior experience in leading process improvement programs
  • A demonstrated ability to work both individually and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong program management skillset and requirements gathering mindset required
  • Operations knowledge required (supply chain, sales etc..)
  • Strong communication and presentation (Exec level) skillset required
  • Proven ability to understand data to independently produce business analysis, business/optimization insights and cost/benefit assessment
  • Typically requires 10+ years of related professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
