Data Center Sales Executive

Business growth is critical to the success of Dell Technologies and in this role you will be in charge of expanding our footprint. Our Data Center Sales Executive team develops new accounts and expands existing ones, using their expansive knowledge of our offerings to grow an established geographic territory or product line. 

Join us as a Data Center Sales Executive on our Outside Sales team in Malaysia handling Public Sector to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact.  

What you’ll achieve

As a Data Center Sales Executive, you will connect directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our Infrastructure/ Data Center Solutions, partnering closely with the Direct Sales Executive to understand the customers’ infrastructure solution requirements and meet their needs.

You will

  • Own the Data Centra Strategy and the business growth of the Infrastructure Solution Group (ISG) in the assigned accounts/ segment

  • Create and identify opportunities, support a range of accounts, exchanging directly with customers on their infrastructure solution requirements 

  • Focus on driving transformational opportunities

  • Understand how our business model relates to selling our infrastructure products and services and be the specialist in supporting the account team and escalating as needed

  • Manage relationships with senior level leaders and executives and leading and managing the virtual team towards success

  • Will also be assisting in ISG Product growth program

Essential Requirements 

  • In-depth knowledge of company products and infrastructure solutions group

  • Skills in contract interpretation, negotiations and project management

  • In-depth understanding of strategic planning

  • Advanced oral, written and presentation skills to use while interacting with senior leadership, vendors and customers

  • Strong collaboration and a great team player

  • Possess strong ownership and leadership in executing tasks

Desirable Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • At least 8 years of outside sales experience
