eCommerce Site Reliability Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As an eCommerce Site Reliability Engineer you will help deliver and operate large scale, distributed systems, and applications for the evolving needs of our global eCommerce experience. You will work to improve our customer experience by ensuring high uptime, sub-second page loads and reliability of the site. Our team is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to the buildout of our monitoring, tooling and automation platforms who work with internal partners, product teams, designers, production support teams and external vendors around the world to deliver world-class experiences for our technical teams and customers.
Provide holistic support and proactive monitoring to maintain the overall health of IT applications, tools and infrastructure in complex global businesses
Serve as a subject matter expertise for our hardware, data, software, security, information access, system performance and data integrity
Employee strong troubleshooting principles for both systems and applications
Partner with other IT functions and departments to recommend process improvements and resolve system outages.

Ability to write and review programs/scripts in Powershell and one or more high level language such as Python, Go, Java
Solid understanding of Linux & Windows OS fundamentals (filesystems, processes, memory, compute etc)
Hands-on experience in monitoring large scale systems using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Jaeger, ELK, Aternity, Newrelic
Basic knowledge of Nginx, IIS and Apache.
Understanding of standard Networking protocols and principles (HTTP, TLS, DNS, UDP, TCP, MPTCP etc)
Experience monitoring and operating container technologies like Kubernetes, Tanzu, exposure to RPA and Auto-healing solutions, distributed infrastructure and architecture with an understanding of CAP theorem, HA principles, etc.
