Member Technical Staff - Mac Endpoints
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who will join one of our Mac Endpoint Development teams within the Carbon Black R&D group to build solutions that will help us deliver industry-leading MacOS Endpoint Security products to our customers.

What You’ll Do
Leverage C/C++ programming experience to drive feature work and support existing Mac Endpoint products on the Carbon Black Cloud platform
Participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of a Scrum team
Plan, develop and own new Mac Endpoint Security products and features.
Contribute to product direction by participating in design discussions and collaborating with team architects, product management, endpoint, backend, and front-end engineers to deliver the right solution
Continuously improve customer experience, quality, performance, and stability of the existing products
Develop and support internal tools for our build, test, and CI/CD infrastructure
What You’ll Bring
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related degree
A team-first attitude. We’re a team where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts
3+ years of experience with user-space, system, or kernel-level development on Mac or Linux and a solid understanding of OS architecture. We’re developing mission-critical security solutions that are deeply integrated with the operating system
Our products are written in modern C/C++, so a good understanding and hands-on experience with these languages is required
Passion for building high-quality products, experience with test-driven development, and a “test-first” mentality as quality is at the center of everything we do.
Experience with debugging complex issues in Mac userspace and in the kernel space
Proficiency with Bash scripting
Experience with Python is a plus (we use it for test automation)
Experience with Docker/GitLabCI/Jenkins is a plus (we use these tools for our build/test and CI/CD infrastructure)
Interest in computer security and a desire to learn
