Process Development Engineering at Dell Technologies spans industrial, manufacturing, electrical and chemical engineering disciplines. Develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost efficient manner. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters. Monitors assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.. Drives process and quality improvement and cost reduction using Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodology.
-Program manages all New and Sustaining Introductions (full extended team coverage)
-Provides Engineering/Pilot qualification build management
-Provides end-to-end order process, fulfillment and 3PL (merge Centre) enablement readiness.
-Leads engineering change management implementation on new and sustaining products
-Leads a cross-functional Regional Extended Team (Marketing, SCP, Production Control, Process Engineering, Sales/Engineering Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, Logistic).
-Bachelor's degree ie industrial, mechanical, and/or manufacturing engineering and 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering operations experience
-Effective communications, interpersonal and analytical skills
-Industrial engineering skills (flow analysis, simulations, capacity assessment)
-Knowledge of ergonomics, controls, OSHA requirements and inbound/outbound transportation networks
-Knowledge of Project Management principles
