Global Business Operations, Partner Service Operations

Our Global Business Operations team is at the heart enabling the indirect business across Channel, Global Alliances and OEM. A bridge between sales and other functions, we use our expertise to evaluate and implement programs to drive improvements for indirect sales. Partner Service Operations manages and oversees the governance of our Deal Registration process and compliance to our Rules of Engagement. Our rules of engagement establish the engagement principles for how we interact and collaborate. They are designed to minimize conflicts and defines our Deal Registrations guidelines. The purpose if Deal Registrations is to protect the investments of our Partners and Dell Technologies and to provide our partners with the gate way into the partner program benefits and advantaged pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role you will have key responsibility in defining the deal registrations process for your region and ensuring maximum alignment to the global standard.
  • Developing and implementing plans to increase RPA (Robotic Process Automation) adoption and increasing the eligibility of deals to be processed through our existing RPA capability.
  • Driving ongoing productivity and quality improvement across all aspects of the Deal Reg Process.
  • Take a leadership role in implement global process changes.
  • Collaborate with the channel GBO and sales leadership to evaluate business requests and proposed workable solutions.
  • Define the scope and timeline for successful deployment and enablement of process change.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis (facts and alternative approach) to make decisions and develop actions plans for managing through options and mitigating risks.
  • Manage key stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on progress towards goals.
  • Drive communication, understanding and buy-in across all levels of the business to ensure the strategy and goals of our organisation are understood and can be achieved.

Essential Requirements

  • Understanding of the Dell Technology business model and routes to market
  • Knowledge of the various sales motions within the channel business and the Rules of Engagement that govern them.
  • Ability to analyze, understand and convey business processes effectively
  • Knowledge of SFDC and opportunity management lifecycle.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and change mgmt. techniques
  • Understanding and experienced in the principles of Project management.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or Agile methodology a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working on or leading Business change/ transformational change programmes.
  • Time management skills with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and in teams
  • Customer / Partner focused and track record for delivering results.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; with 6+ years' experience in a sales support or transformational role
  • Strong Communication skill at all levels including senior leadership
  • Written and spoken English plus Mandarin Chinese
  • Critical thinking with keen insights to recognize operational gaps and mitigate risk
  • Thorough presentation, idea development and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Oriented with ability to coordinate requirements across teams
  • Ability to provide insights and guidance based upon business needs
  • Strong prioritization, problem-solving and planning skills.
