The Germany Small Business Marketing team is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, communications and initiatives that create demand to hit the quarterly and yearly financial plans. The team is responsible for building brand consideration using best in class campaigns and media that ultimately drives calls to the call Center and visits to dell.com to generate revenue, units, and margin.

What you’ll achieve

As the Country Marketing Lead - Small Business, it is this person’s responsibility to ensure the marketing team over-delivers against demand, profitability, and share metrics while providing a great customer experience and internal winning culture.  It’s also this person’s responsibility to manage the team of vehicle leads by providing career development, support, and leadership.  He or she will work closely with planning, media, merch, creative, and online to ensure flawless execution across vehicles. 

This role requires a go-to-market background including campaign development and message strategy, creative, and vehicles.  The role will partner with a variety of teams within the Small Business organization, including merchandising, online, media, creative, production, vendor funding, CRM, & cycle planning.  This individual must exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across the organization.  He or she must be agile, proactive, and leverage both data and good judgement to make critical decisions to drive the business. 

You will:

  • Manage intra-week and intra-quarter plans and changes to deliver against business goals (visits, calls, units, revenue, margin, share) as well we oversee team of vehicle leads and create a winning culture with emphasis on career development
  • Own execution and alignment across go-to-market vehicles and also ensure vehicle execution aligns to overall business and strategic priorities
  • Diagnose and summarize marketing performance and build comprehensive weekly actions to exceed plan
  • Work closely with planning functions to ensure smooth hand-off from planning to execution
  • Partner with merchandising and online to flawlessly execute campaigns and offers as well as drive innovation to continue to scale the business

Essential Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the IT industry as well as 10+ years in developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of Marcom process – from creative to in-market delivery as well as familiarity with CRM strategies, objectives and best practices
  • Proven ability to use integrated media plans to grow, engage and activate targeted audiences, strong analytical skills and appetite for driving innovation and change
  • Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of business in a virtual organization as week as experience in working with and agency resources
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity to drive results, to work up, down and sideways and to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Effective executive communication

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration. MBA degree in Marketing or Business preferred, as well as Balanced Experience in RTB marketing functions
  • Solid understanding of Dell’s Corporate and Local BUs cultures highly preferred
