Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability. Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.

Key responsibilities

Your role will involve delivering technical solutions that address customers varying needs, either working independently or with a subject matter expert on more complex solutions.

You will:

  • Provide expert guidance and direction to the Core Sales team on Dells infrastructure and enterprise solutions
  • Harness an extensive portfolio to design enterprise solutions
  • Act as a technical resource to help the sales organization meet, if not exceed, its objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on new and competitive products, technology and services offerings
  • Identifying and influencing customer key decision makers

Essential requirements

  • Extensive experience working in a sales environment/partnering with sales
  • Substantial experience in a technical role that shows knowledge of multi-platform hardware and software solutions
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and presentation skills

Desired requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related course
  • Knowledge of Dells enterprise portfolio
  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role
