Business Development Manager- Unstructured Data Solutions (UDS)
UDS Global Sales Operations, provides the essential unstructured data infrastructure for customers to build their digital future and transform IT. The team is responsible for building strategy that translates to go-to-market, global growth and continued market leadership by delivering scale our NAS & object products, services and solutions to both commercial and enterprise customers as well as public and federal institutions worldwide. The business cuts across other business and product groups, driving partnership, collaboration and process excellence in hostile and highly competitive business environments and changing technological landscapes.

What you’ll achieve
This job represents a balanced sales effort of product and services knowledge and selling skills and grows the territory/account base to attain financial objectives. Ability to understands customers’ business and solutions requirements Territory/account management, including account planning and sales forecasting.
Supports moderately complex accounts and some large accounts and gains access and manages relationships with senior level leaders and executives
Identifies business trends and leverages strengths of the sales team to create a differentiated offering and position ourselves to capture business and uses complementary solutions from other areas of the business as a competitive strategy
Interfaces directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our solutions Identifies opportunities for junior account managers to fill a geographic or vertical coverage gap Identifies appropriate products and services to meet the full range of customer needs
Identifies cost effective and practical alternatives for the assigned business area by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize our opportunity while meeting customer’s needs Seen as an expert in a given segment and/or channel Point of contact for escalated issues
Models and may coach effective team behavior Skillfully negotiates with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs May be assigned to a specific national account that traditionally is high in complexity and strategic importance to the firm

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience selling technology solutions and customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account
• Expert knowledge of market trends that impact on Dell Technologies customers
• Outstanding customer management and strategic selling skills that will improve the success of our customers’ business and the growth of Dell Technologies
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ambitious environment
• Bachelor’s degree
