Lab Support Engineer

The Engineering Technical Support (ETS) Infrastructure Team is responsible for managing and developing our global labs in 6 geographical locations. The team is part of the Engineering organization, working closely with the different product teams to resolve complex customer issues. The ETS team has direct impact on how the product succeeds in the market, and what enhancements and new features are implemented to grow the products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product setup and integration in various OS and networking environments

  • Complex customers’ environments reproductions

  • Lab infrastructure ongoing management and future planning  

  • Global labs support and troubleshooting, coordination of lab projects

  • Working experience with leading tools development for lab management

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with block-level Storage/storage networking protocols/file systems and knowledge of Storage Network Technologies (SAN & NAS)

  • Experience with coordination of global infrastructure projects

  • System Administrator level knowledge with a range of operating systems (Linux, Windows, UNIX) and virtualization technologies (VMware, HyperV)

  • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure with good understanding of enterprise customers’ needs and scripting mastery (Python/Shell)

  • Excellent English skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Project management skills and a background in Databases (Oracle, SQL)

  • B.Sc./B.A. degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline
