Sr. Advisor, Engineering Project Manager

Person also has the option to work at one of our prime sites in : Round rock/Austin, Hopkinton, MA, RTP, NC or may work remote.
Manages multiple complex technical programs, projects and initiatives affecting area goals and objectives. Drives the creation and management of cross-functional leadership teams; facilitating, coordinating and leading cross-functional teams to complete a variety of technical program plans, tasks, and milestones. Defines priorities and resources allocated to programs, projects and/or initiatives. Maintains an awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to ensure the success of complex programs and initiatives.
You will
Manage the software development process from initial specifications thru Qualification and GA
Develop / maintain program metric reports
Facilitates, coordinates and leads cross-functional teams to complete multiple complex technical program and/or project plans, tasks and milestones.
Leads cross-functional priority setting and resource allocation relative to each program, project and/or initiative.
Ensures completion of all specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support initiatives
Communicate program status, challenges, and risks at an executive level.
Develops and manages communication and coordination of cross functional teams across all areas. Defines and reports program roadmap, status, development issues and success metrics.
Supports, manages, and influences continuous improvement of product/solution development lifecycle process, practices and initiatives. Identifies, escalates and ensures resolution of issues impacting successful execution of programs.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or concentration in Management Information Systems
8+ years relevant experience
Strong program planning and management skills
Knowledge of program management and reporting tools. Examples: Jira, Tableau, Excel
Experience with Relational Databases (i.e. MS SQL and MySQL), SQL queries, ETL processes, Data Analysis and visualization
Cross-Functional leadership skills
Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
Scrum and Agile Development methodology (desired)
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and with minimal direction.
Desirable Requirements:
MBA is a plus
Must be a team player and willing to work with geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables.
Work effectively with senior management.
