Dell is a collective of customer-obsessed, industry-leading visionaries. We believe that technology is essential for driving human progress, and the technology we provide transforms the way we all work and live. But we are more than a technology company — we are a people company. We recognize that over 100,000 employees across six continents have different interests and aspirations. We inspire, challenge and respect each and every one of them, every day.
The Dell EMC Chief Technology and Innovation Office (CTIO) sits at the crossroads of technology strategy, research, innovation, and advanced development. We strive to be influential across the breadth of the Dell EMC portfolio and work hand in hand with all product organizations. Lead technology scoping that leverages Market and Industry data, customer feedback, and technology validation
Lead a development team through prototyping of the technology or solution utilizing current and next generation software technologies using an Agile or Lean Agile methodology in a continuous data driven approach
Collaborate and interact cross-functionally with product development, product engineering, customers, partners, architects, peers across Dell, and senior management
Lead change and continuous improvement for this innovation process
Understand the Dell EMC Portfolio of technologies, the business goals and customer use cases
Highly collaborative and open; enabling cross-company efforts
Experience and success performing non-leading customer interviews
Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
Development methodologies: Agile and/or Lean Agile Development
Experience managing Pivotal Tracker, Jira, and/or Confluence including Backlog management
Self-Motivated, Enthusiastic, Energetic and Passionate about technology and working as a part of a team

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and an ability to articulate technical vision while understanding business requirements
Experience collaborating with customers to understand the problem statement/use cases and mapping them to tangible technical requirements
Experience working across cross-functional teams – customers, business units, partners, architects, and senior management
Familiarity with Virtualization, Big Data and Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI platforms
