Demand Planning Sr. Analyst
When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Demand Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary, to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.
This role is responsible for managing the demand signal and supply balancing for Products and Commodities. In this role you will develop the weekly demand signal to both enable and protect the business by balancing product availability and cost. Leveraging the supply chain design and capability to influence sales towards demand stability and offer solutions to best utilize available supply and mitigate impacts of demand changes.
Understand business strategy and/or sales objectives through demand, supply and capacity inputs to support decisions on forecasts and customer commitments.
Develop skills and knowledge necessary to forecast demand trends and performance that impact future demand plans.
Interpret market, commodity, and product dynamics as inputs to demand forecast.
Accurately develop weekly sales, production and material plan by configuration utilizing the unit production plans (UPPs) and merchandizing plans
Develop and execute product transition plans to effectively migrate through the product life cycle without customer delivery interruptions or excess material supply
Identify data, analytics, and market intelligence to manage risk when determining forecast requirements.
Engage with stakeholders on business assumptions that impact supply chain planning.
Identify risks to customer and financial requirements to drive forecasts.
Engage in product/peripheral transition to avoid delivery delay and Excess & Obsolescence.
Identify demand shaping opportunities with sales segments during times of supply imbalances or when required to meet a shift in the regional marketing or financial plans.
Execute material allocation decisions and translates material allocation to customer commitments on supportability and lead-times.

Solid experience in Operations, Supply Chain in related industry
Must be enrolled in college or have completed graduation in the last 12 months
Advanced MS computer skills in Excel and Power Point.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner amongst peers and next level leaders
Solid relationship building skills
Excellent English oral and writing skills, communication skills.
Knowledge and experience with Power BI preferred
