What you’ll achieve

The Dell EMC Live Optics team is expanding in Pune. Each member of Live Optics is expected and encouraged to express their creativity for problem solving and contribute to both technique and features of the product. Do you have a desire to influence evolving cloud initiatives? The Live Optics team is looking for an exceptional, highly motivated and ambitious team player to build, execute and deliver a best of breed software stack to our customers. As a Software Engineer 2, you will take technical ownership of high-level feature requests, and coordinate with the US, Irish, and Egyptian engineering teams. You will implement features, often spanning multiple components within the backend infrastructure.

You will:

  • Demonstrates skills & ownership in technical and team capacities.

  • Coding solutions to a high level of testability, modularity and maintainability

  • Analyzes, estimates, reviews and software specifications for business requirements

  • Operates with agility and adapts to technologies and processes quickly

  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative Agile environment

  • Pair programming with senior engineers

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in designing, developing and scaling software applications

  • Experience in any front-end framework like Angular/React/Node preferably React & TypeScript

  • Experience in C#, .NET stack & Client-server API

  • Relational database development experience

  • Ability to operate across an end-to-end tech stack, frontend through to backend

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge around storage, server & network domain

  • Exposure to any cloud infrastructure like Azure/AWS/GCP
