Job Role and Responsibility

As a member of the Global Benefits team, you will have the chance to put your talents to the test with a constantly changing environment and dynamic market need. As VMware grows, so does the complexity of our business. As the Benefits Finance Senior Analyst, you will bring Finance procure-to-pay experience to ensure our Benefits programs funding is optimally managed, with processes compliant and efficient. You will be able to balance collaborative partnerships and operational work, diving deep on analyses and financial management to ensure effective program financing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the financial and procurement processes for APJ and EMEA Benefits
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal partners:
    • Regional Benefits leads, to provide financial oversight for our benefit programs
    • Benefits consultants, to effectively manage annual programs budget, costs and vendor relationships
    • FP&A, in establishing programs costs towards reviews and endorsements
    • Sourcing leads, providers and Finance, to ensure compliant and timely procurement, purchasing and payment processes
    • Payroll, to optimize benefits-in-kind reporting
  • Accountable for benefit accruals, purchase order processing and invoice payments
  • Review processes for continual improvements towards optimal process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Represent regional benefits financing in Fringe reviews with Finance and Benefits
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to present data and recommendations in an organized and logical manner
  • Ability to prepare budget-cost analysis for benefit proposals and headcount plans
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork skills to effectively interact with partners at all levels
  • Strong service orientation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on high performance
