VMware Telco Cloud platform team is looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Software Engineer to help us develop a scalable, high performant automation and orchestration solution for the cloud platform.

The candidate should be able to, 

  • Develop, maintain and automate infrastructure solutions
  • Install, maintain and monitor systems running on both physical hardware and virtualized environments.
  • Assist with the maintenance of live production software. Automate build and configuration wherever possible
  • Adhere to SDLC and change management process
  • Deploy, automate, troubleshoot and enhance the K8s based system
  • Onboard Vendor's Network functions onto the Cloud Platform

Preferred Qualification

  • BS/MS in Computer Science from premier institute
  • 3-7 years of relevant development experience
  • Should have knowledge in data center technologies like containers, virtualization, networking and storage

Required Skills

  • Good Knowledge in any of the Programming Languages (Java/REST/Go/Python)
  • Good in Computer Science Fundamentals like Algorithms, Networking and Operating System
  • Containerization tools: Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Distributed Systems like MongoDB, Kafka is added Advantage
  • Exposure to CICD tools: Jenkins; build tools - Maven and Ant is added Advantage
  • Exposure to 5G technologies is added advantage
  • Exposure to VMware Technologies like vSphere, NSX, vSAN is added Advantage
