Overall:

This role is to support Japan business from Financial Analysis perspective with strategic scenario based thinking.  Closely working with Japan Commercial Senior Vice President as well as Product BU General Managers.  Building strong and trusted partnership with sales and other functions is critical to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Lead Integrated Operational Plan (IOP)
  • Partnering with Sales Managers / Product Business Unit / Marketing / Finance and other departments
  • Review annual / quarterly financial target with insights of market positioning / product price and quality / sales capacity etc
  • Measure performance outcomes (profit and loss), productivity, capacity, execution plans and dependencies

  • Run The Business (RTB)
  • Support to drive execution of the sales cadence and business operations, ensuring we meet financial commitments
  • Design and prepare various operational review material for Executive Leadership Team, Japan Management team and Ground level Managers
  • Take lead on specific projects to resolve the business issue when needed

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Implementation
  • Leading the definition and execution of GTM strategy and plans, including route to market and effective coverage by sales and Product Business Unit
  • Aligning with Global definitions and support maintaining customer database including sales assignment to each customers
  • Track and analyze the performance based on customer segmentation perspective

Qualification:

  • Must have 10+ years of professional experience, preferably having 5+ years’ experience in the IT industry
  • Must have strong communication skill in Japanese and English, both verbal and written;
    • Native level in verbal and written Japanese
    • English skill at above TOEIC 850 preferred
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills as well as solid project management skills
  • Strong skill in Microsoft Excel.  Experience in Microsoft Access is a plus
  • A self-motivated team player and fast learner
