Channel Rebate Program Manager, Japan

This position is reports into the APJ, Snr Director Strategy & Programs, APJ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the development and successful implementation of the channel incentive programs to support sales and channel partners in the Japan.
  • Responsible for timely reporting and updating on the progress of Japan Channel Incentive Programs.
  • Be familiar and able to navigate through the Channel Incentive system (Ansira).
  • Responsible to ensure timely uploading and acceptance of the Japan Channel Partners’ and Distributors’ quota.
  • Responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining on-going relationships with Japan and country counterparts and colleagues to build channel incentive programs that satisfy partner needs, customer needs and Dell needs.
  • Responsible to ensure Japan Partners, Distributors and key stakeholders are familiar and able to clearly articulate our Channel Incentive Program.
  • Responsible for addressing all queries on Japan Channel Incentive/Rebate Programs.
  • Evaluates program trends relating to Channel incentives and provides analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Facilitates strategic communication with Japan business partners on Channel Incentive Programs.
  • Ensures consistency and governance of rolled out Japan Channel Incentive Programs.
  • Ensures alignment between Dell and Japan strategic business partners on rolled out Channel Incentive Programs.


  • This role requires strong analytical, communication, collaborative, communication, organization agility and presentation skills with at least 8 years of channel experience (Preferred).
  • Detailed, proactive and have strong project management skills. Able to multi-task is also critical.  Excel, PPT and Presentation skills are a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Is result-oriented and is receptive to taking on feedback when shared.
  • Is a team player with a positive attitude and great passion to do well.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, channel partners and customers.
  • Other success attributes include being fast learner, results-oriented, analytical, matured.
  • University degree preferred with at least 8 years of relevant channel program experience.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Referrals upon request.
