Join us as a Network Security (Edge) Engineer (Senior Advisor) on our Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations team in Ireland to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a Network Security (Edge) Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining & managing network security infrastructure. You will work with our internal customers and partners, to provide support related to security devices (with a focus on Edge technologies like DDOS & WAF).

You will:

  • Participate & report on cyber related projects & internal customer engagements.

  • Deploy, maintain & manage network security infrastructure.

  • Provide technical support (L2 / L3) for cyber managed infrastructure & products, with a focus on Edge technologies like DDOS & WAF).

  • Work on TASKs & Changes related to security network infrastructure.

  • Provide On-Call support

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted for educational requirements.

  • 7+ years’ experience in security networking.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of Edge technologies e.g., Arbor DDOS, Akamai, WAF etc.

  • Experience with security processes and documentation.

Desirable Requirements

  • Familiar with network fundamentals & security technologies including Arbor, Akamai, F5 WAF & Palo Alto.

  • Industry certifications relevant to the role such as: CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, ACE, PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE, CISSP etc.
