Virtustream is seeking Cloud Product Manager that will use business and technical skills to drive requirements and execution in support of the vision and strategy for Virtustream Cloud Offerings, Professional Services, and Managed Services. This person will work closely with customers, the field, engineering and operations to define, develop, shape and refine Virtustream’s services portfolio. In This Job You will:
Collect and articulate new product requirements for Virtustream’s cloud portfolio by collaborating with customers, field, engineering and other product managers
Prioritize new features for the product backlog based on revenue potential, profitability, timing, competition, business unit strategy and alignment with Virtustream’s strategic vision
Assist with roadmap development focused on Cloud Offerings and Services for multi-cloud (Virtustream Enterprise Cloud, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
Work both internally with functional groups (engineering, marketing, sales, alliances, services, support, etc.) as well as externally with customers and partners to support new offers
Critique the architecture proposed by the architecture team and ensure the engineering team delivery is aligned to product design
Be accountable for the end-to-end development of a new offerings from the initial business case, architectural validation, offer development, pricing, and enablement of the sales, pre-sales, and delivery organizations.
2 plus years of Product Management experience in a Managed Services or Cloud Platform role with a Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
Cloud and technical experience in working with VMware, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google Cloud Platform in an Agile environment
Experience in product management focused on delivering solutions that leverage cloud-based platforms
Ability to drive product offerings and communicate to all levels of an organization
Strong understanding of financial and analytical fundamentals based upon work experience
Experience in developing managed-services based product offerings on hyperscalers
