Network Security Senior Advisor

What you’ll achieve
Cybersecurity Engineers have responsibility for providing thought leadership across security technology areas and aligning with both the business and cybersecurity objectives. In this role, you will be expected to contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity, and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority items which change based on need.
Deploy and manage web application security configurations on Web Application Firewalls, Bot Mitigation, and Denial of Service Platforms
Deploy and manage technologies for Web Application Security and Denial of Service mitigation
Work across global teams and business units to understand application and network architecture and behavior and design and deploy adequatecontrols
Provide consulting services toapplication owners, IT, and business teams to enhance security and protection controls for network locations, technologies, andapplications
Analyze web and network traffic, application and network layer packet data to identify threats and threat actors and design and implementcontrols
Monitor for incidents and alerts and provide response and support to address activeevents
Provide dedicated support to Special Events (Sales, webcasts, etc.)

5+ years of professional experienceperforming data analytics and implementing solutions on Web Application Firewalls,Bot Mitigation, and Denial of Service Platforms
In-depth knowledge and understanding ofweb application behavior and security and denial of service mitigation tactics andstrategies
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) knowledgeas well as other data logging and collection platforms
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Agile methodology experience
Knowledge of Cloud concepts and design principles (e.g.AWS, Azure)
Information Security certification(s) –e.g.CISSP, CISM, etc.
Expertise in micro-services architectures and creation of a secure edge for said environment.
Proven ability to solve technical and businessproblems
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to nontechnicalteams
Ability to build effective relationships with people at alllevels
Customer-oriented with a strong interest in customer satisfaction
