Not even ground-breaking products sell themselves. That’s the job of our inside sales professionals. They take to market a product portfolio that includes PCs, electronics, accessories, mobility products, enterprise solutions, services and packaged software. Inside Sales Management is all about managing, inspiring and motivating professionals at all levels to deliver against targets. Beyond day-to-day people management, our team also shapes, executes and communicates specific sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives sales metrics for NA SB Software & Peripheral Offline Inside Sales at the Site Level

  • Manager of Small Business Software & Peripheral Sales Coaches/S&P LORS/Product Specialists who collaborate with the inside sales organization to meet or exceed performance objectives

  • Aligns, influences and owns business initiatives (team, partners and peers). Serves as main point of contact and liaison for core sales leaders and Site Director

  • Attends and represents S&P in core team functions, BizOps, CTB, etc. Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce

  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members. Trains and develops team members on both products and selling techniques. Works to resolve customer issues to ensure a world-class customer experience

  • Contributes to policy/ program development, accountable for the day-to-day operations of an area managing processes, programs and/or initiatives

  • Defines roles and responsibilities, contributes to standards around which others will operate and plans for an areas future needs and operations

  • Supports the S&P organizational initiatives thru participation in and or leading key projects

  • Frequently interacts with direct reports, customers, and/or functional peer group leaders, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company

Essential Requirements
• Ability to communicate strategic direction of Dell’s products and services
• Strong leadership skills that can be used to translate strategic direction into results
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a management/leadership function managing large teams of individual contributors

Desirable Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
